Happy "Mah May" Day

Happy Mother’s Day,

I am extremely grateful, my heart is full. To my beautiful husband thank you for making this day special. To my blessing, my baby girl, Emery Summer Wiley, I love you deeply. I’ve loved you from conception. I can remember the day I found out I was pregnant. It was Friday, September 22, 2023. Vic and I both had resigned from our jobs. We were saying goodbye to Omaha and moving to my hometown. I got up and took a pregnancy test and seen 2 lines. In shock, frozen like a statue, I screamed, “Vic, come here!” We stared at the test, shocked but not really. I mean we were tracking my ovulation and seeing a fertility specialist at that time, so not in total shock. I headed straight to the OBGYN office. It was confirmed! HCG level was through the roof.  You were 4 weeks and 3 days old.

The next few months would be full of challenges that tested my faith. God is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him. 

I am so happy that God selected me to be your mother. There has not been a day where I have not prayed for you. Outwardly you light up every room you enter, but you light up my heart every morning.
